Standpipe Golf Motor Inn has an excellent selection on its menu to satisfy every taste from starters to fill-you-up mains and truly scrumptious sides. Arancini Balls VG - Three crispy balls filled with an amazing mushroom and truffle crumbled risotto, served with truffle aioli and grated parmesan. Others are the Southern Fried Chicken (Spicy), five tender pieces of chicken lightly battered and fried to perfection, chipotle mayonnaise, and fresh lime added for that extra kick. Chilled Oysters, for those who love them, are served with vibrant green herbs, while Combination Plate comes with four of each type of oyster, West Coast Coffin Bay, and Kilpatrick (DF). The Garlic Ciabatta is a warm, grilled loaf topped with three kinds of cheese and a zesty grain mustard, making it the perfect side to accompany any dish. If you’re in the mood for something comforting, the Soup of the Day comes paired with freshly toasted ciabatta.
The main course offerings are equally varied, starting with the indulgent Big Standpipe Beef Burger: a 150g wagyu beef patty served on a satisfying combination of beetroot, lettuce, tasty cheese, pineapple, pickles, bacon, fried egg, and caramelised onion, with a side serving of crispy chips. The Southern Fried Chicken Burger includes fried chicken with fresh tomato, garden salad, pickled red onion, and chipotle mayonnaise. Served with chips for a complete meal. For the lovers of ribs, American Style Sticky Pork Ribs are slow-cooked and smothered in sticky barbecue sauce, served with crispy chips and a garden salad. Another great choice is the Scotch Fillet (GF)-a 300g cut of scotch fillet steak served with either crispy roasted kipfler potatoes and sautéed onions or garden salad and chunky chips, with a sauce of your choice. Alternatively, the Grain Fed Rump Steak comes with 300g tender rump steak, served with chips and a garden salad, finished off with one of the sauces of your choice, including Diane, green peppercorn, mushroom, plain gravy, or creamy garlic sauce. Finally, for comforting pasta, the Penne Pasta Alla Panna (VG) features grilled chicken, ham, mushrooms, parsley, and parmesan in a creamy white wine sauce. For vegetarians, there's the Standpipe Vegetarian Pasta VG - penne pasta in a tomato-based sauce loaded with red and green capsicum, onion, mushrooms, and baby spinach. If one loves seafood, there is the Roast Salmon Fillet with crumbled zucchini wedges, shelled broad beans, buttered new potatoes, fresh green goddess sauce, lemon, and caper berries. Another main course dish is Spicy Southern Fried Chicken, composed of seven pieces of crispy fried chicken, coleslaw salad with chipotle mayonnaise and fresh lime, and chips on the side.
Among other sides, there's Classic Coleslaw Salad, refreshing Simple Green Salad with tomato, cucumber, and red onion, crispy Sweet Potato Wedges with sour cream and guacamole, and chunky chips in either small or large portions. Schnitzels are also preferred, with beef and chicken schnitzels available, served with chips and tossed salad and a choice of sauce like Diane, green peppercorn, mushroom, or creamy garlic sauce. For added flair, several pizzas are on offer, including Parmigiana, Hawaiian, Mexican, Indian, Kilpatrick, and Surf and Turf, all designed to add flavour and variety to the menu.
