Hi! I’m Ank from the Netherlands, and I’m currently in Port Augusta, staying at the Standpipe Golf Motor Inn.
They offer different types of accommodation, from hotel rooms to apartments, some of which are fully self-contained.
There’s also a swimming pool—not very big, but nice. Plus, there’s a golf course nearby, so you can easily stop by for a round.
Yesterday, I had dinner at the restaurant, and wow… it was absolutely delicious! They really put in the effort, and you can taste it. Definitely a must-try!

Hoi! Ik ben Ank uit Nederland en ik ben momenteel in Port Augusta, bij de Standpipe Golf Motor Inn.
Ze hebben hier verschillende soorten accommodaties, van hotelkamers tot appartementen. Sommige zijn volledig zelfvoorzienend.
Er is ook een zwembad, niet heel groot, maar prima. Daarnaast ligt er een golfbaan bij, dus je kunt gerust even langskomen om een balletje te slaan.
Gisteren heb ik gegeten in het restaurant, en wauw… echt heerlijk! Ze hebben er hun best op gedaan, en dat proef je zeker. Echt een aanrader!
